Mountain Climbing

There aren't many mountains in OKC, so these folks decided to practice mountain climbing on a tree in Edgemere Park, which is just a few blocks from the Paseo Arts District.  I love trees and this looks like so much fun.
Is it just me or do the trees in the second pic look like old majestic beings.  They look alive to me.
I didn't think I would find anything interesting to take pictures of during this run other than in the Paseo district.  I was very wrong.  That's just another reason why I love running in old neighborhoods and away from parks and tracks.  I would never have gotten to see this any other place but here, away from the usual path on a rainy day with my dog.
