Polar Donuts is on 11th and Meridian. It's a small privately-owned business where you can watch the man making the donuts behind the counter, and if you have to wait in line or if he's trying out a new recipe, you get a free one! (Like Krispy Kreme, only they don't make my tummy hurt, and are tasty) They are always trying new recipes here (the day I took this picture, it was potato donuts) along with the staples, and a dozen donuts is just $3 - $5. Yummy.
