Paseo Arts Festival

The Paseo District is a small, colorful artist's community. Every year during Memorial Day Weekend they host the Paseo Arts Festival. I personally enjoy this more than Festival of the Arts because at Paseo, they sell art and handmade goods I can actually afford to buy. Twenty dollars could actually earn me something really beautiful. The art also slants less towards the sophisticated and more towards the hippie, but you do get good doses of each at both events. Two years ago, I bought wooden and glass roses at this festival to use in my wedding. I didn't buy art this year, but I did see a folk concert and buy lots of food!
