On my scary night walk of 23rd Street, I had to take a pic of this sign.  Black Women spend billions of dollars on thier hair--Jerri curls, wigs, weaves, pony tails, relaxers, miracle growth aids, and braiding hair.  This used to be the place where we all went to get what we needed for whatever style we wanted.  I was never a big hair person, I espeically hated weaves and ponytails, but even I have gone into this place more times  than I can remember with my mom and my sisters.  It's closed now, but of course the sign brings back memories.  BTW, there are still stores in MWC and Del City.
