Remember that post a while back where I showed you some of the underground tunnels? OKC also has above ground tunnels, although not as many. This is a view of one of them after a rain... I took a picture of one tunnel as I was standing in another. A cold front is supposed to bring us some showers today. I hope it does. I'm ready for a wet, gray autumn! It's been slow coming this year. Here's a picture of me enjoying our most recent rain 2-3 weeks ago... just for luck!
My blog partner mentioned a network of pedestrian tunnels that runs through downtown OKC. These are them. Each stretch of tunnel is different. Some have historical photograph galleries or televisions, some have businesses down there (mostly restaraunts, but I also know of banks, a post office, a salon, and a barber shop). I even saw a Segway rental. I like the ones that are brightly lit and colored the best, of course.
